3D Origami Basket

I tried my hand now at 3D origami. This time I made a basket with a handle. Although this basket is not perfect I am still sharing it with you. Have a look.

This time around I made paper beads. This beads are made from colorful newspaper. It is a long triangle rolled with the help of skewers. Then glue is applied to the last part of the paper. To give it shiny surface I applied clear nail polish.

Newspaper Strips Box

This box is made by newspaper strips. I cut newspaper into desired size then folded it int 2 inches size and afterwards made a box out of it. This box also has a border. Please check it out.

Newspaper Twine Basket 2

This time I was a little experienced therefore my this basket was a little right. In this basket I also made border to the edge. It is an easy border nothing funny. I shall make more fancy border in my future project. Have a look at my second basket.

This time I tried my hand in basket making. In my childhood I saw people making basket. Therefore, I was aware of basket making technique. Still, I search net for basket making. My first basket with newpaper twine was a disaster. In this technique you cut newspaper strips in 2 inch and rolled it with help of skewer. Joined it with wood glue or glue stick. Then give it the desired basket shape. Although it was a disaster still I am sharing it with you all.

After being introduced to arts and crafts, I searched net for such things and came across with rolled newspaper work. This time around I tried rolled newspaper and made a box out of it with a lid which could be open and closed. Take a look.

Origami Bonsai Plant 2

After seeing my first plant, one of my aunt liked it so much that I decided to make another one for her. This time around I decided to give my origami bonsai plant more leaves and flower. This is how it looks. I gifted it to hear. I hope she and her family enjoys it.

After trying my hand at quilling I also tried origami bonsai. This art I came across once I was at the site scrib there the book was featured for Origami bonsai. From there my interest picked up. After buying that book I made this plant. Every part i.e., from top to bottom is made by paper only. This plant is hundred percent eco-friendly. I am planning to sell it soon on ebay.

Handmade Quilling Pot 3

This the last of my handmade quilling pot set. This time I wanted to make a little big pot with a different shape. After few error I succeeded. This one is also painted with same orange color.

This time around I tried some different shape for my pot and here is the result. I colored this also orange because I wanted to make some set.

This time I tried the same pot with a little thicker quilling strips i.e., 1/4 inch and painted it with orange color.

My Second Quilling Pot

After making my first pot I tried doing second quilling pot with narrow strips. However it was not a success. some of the strips loosen while shaping. Still, I am publishing it. This time I colored it with purple arcylic paint.

This is my very first arts and crafts project. I happen to surf net, there I encounter some kind of quilling project. From there I got my inspiration and made this pot then colored it.
